Zokosky’s paintings are imaginative, quirky, disturbing, beautiful, resonant and memorable. He is a full time working artist who is also the Chairman of the Master of Fine Arts Program at Laguna College of Art and Design. He’s taught at ArtCenter, Cal. State Long Beach and Otis Art Institute. Zokosky is a regular lecturer and teacher at the J. Paul Getty Museum. He’s had more than a dozen solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Zokosky’s work has been featured in many books and there is a documentary film about him titled Under the Skin: the Art of Peter Zokosky.
